The much-anticipated time of the year when Apple either refreshes their hardware or changes its design is nearly upon us once again. Recent web rumors suggested that Apple is preparing to release a 15-inch MacBook Air; however, multiple reliable sources have shot this down. Instead, it has been confirmed that Apple will take their already familiar design and simply slim it down.
Following the MacBook Air and Mac Mini, the 15-inch MBP will lose its optical drive reasoning that professionals prefer to download software from the Mac App Store. Don’t expect to see the Ethernet port any longer either—Apple has ditched the wired connectivity of techno-past for a streamlined Wi-Fi product. For those who haven’t transitioned, never you worry!
